Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 lemon

  • 400 ml sunflower oil

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Prerequisites

  • narrow container

  • stick mixer

Instructions

  1. Chop up the garlic cloves.

  2. Squeeze lemon juice out from the lemon.

  3. Crack open the egg and pour it into the narrow container.

  4. Add the salt, mustard, garlic and lemon juice to the container.

  5. Lightly puree the content in the container. Don't make it too frothy.

  6. Leave the stick mixer submerged in the container. Slowly begin to pour oil into the container.

  7. While pouring in the oil, mix the ingredients together, lightly bobbing the mixer up and down. The liquid will start to turn thicker as you go.
